Andrew Jackson was the president while this was going on and he ordered that all native Americans move west (the Indian Removal Act), Native Americans did not so he forced them off of their land and this was called the Trail of Tears. Many Native Americans we killed, raped, or died because of diseases. native Americans went traveled through extreme weather during this process, just for the “need” of land.
