keith is on his way home in his car. his drive is 12 miles long. he has finished three fourths of the drive so far. how far has he driven?

Answer: 9 miles

if you divide 12 into 4, you’ll get 3. So since he drove 3/4 of his trip so far, he’s driven 9 miles. 3+3+3+3= 12, 3+3+3= 9
