Can someone please solve this I got 7 but my teacher said its 17.
3(2x+4)=7(x-1)+2

x=17

Simplify

6x+12=7x-7+2

6x+12=7x-5

   -12       -12

6x=7x-17

Must isolate x on 1 side

-7x      -7x

-x=-17
