How were the settlers of the middle colonies differer from the settlers in New England?

Answer:

The settlers in the middle colonies had a warmer climate and focused more on farming while the New England colonies focused on timber.  In New England settlers were packed more into cities while in the middle colonies they were spread onto plantations.
