In bacteria ribosomes are produced in the cytoplasm while in eukaryotric cells the NUCLEUS and CYTOPLASM are both sites of ribosome synthesis.
Note: Ribosomes are crucial organelles in any cell because they are the site of protein synthesis and protein is what makes up enzymes and other important cell structures.
