To change a fraction to a decimal, simply divide the numerator by the denominator. The numerator is the top part of the fraction, while the denominator is the bottom part of the fraction.

4 ÷ 5 = 0.8

Thus,  [tex] \frac{4}{5} [/tex] as a decimal would be 0.8
