For 2.5 hours first find for two hours and then for half hour. finally add this two and half hour to get for 2.5 hours.

2.5 hours=2 hours + half hour

2 hours= 1 hour × 2

= 52 miles × 2 = 104 miles

half hour= 1 hour ÷ 2

=52 miles ÷ 2 = 26 miles

2.5 hours = 104 miles + 26 miles

= 130 miles
