You can compute the slope of a line by using the slope formula. This is given by:

slope,m=(change in y-axis)/(change in x-axis)

           =(Δ y-axis)/(Δ x-axis)

Given the points (x1,y1) and (x,y) from a linear graph, then:

slope m will be:

          m=(y-y1)/(x-x1)
