So, the formula is C=5/9(F-32)
You would substitute the 50C for C:
   50 = 5/9 (F - 32)
Divide both sides by 5/9 (or multiply by the reciprocal)
   90 = F - 32
Add the 32 to both sides:
   122 = F
So, 50C = 122F

Answer: C. 122°F

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the formula to change F° to °C is C = 5/9(F - 32). BUT we need to convert 50°C to F. So, we will need to find the variable that will let the equation equal 50.

Do: 5/9(122-32) = 50°C (Change the F into 122)

Hope this helped. :)
