L = 15 + W
Area = L x W
450 = (15 + W)W = 15W + W^2
W^2 + 15W - 450 = 0
(W - 15)(W + 30) = 0
W = 15
L = 15 + 15 = 30

length = 30 yards and width = 15 yards.
