[tex] \frac{1}{2} *x-y=4[/tex]   /-[tex] \frac{1}{2}x [/tex]
-y=[tex]- \frac{1}{2}x+4 [/tex]       /*(-1)    
y=[tex] \frac{1}{2}x-4[/tex]    - its the result

2y=x+6     /:2   (divide both sides by2 )
y=[tex] \frac{1}{2} x+3[/tex] - its the result
