what is the answer to: Decrease 42kg by 3%??

The answer is 40.74kg because you divide my 100, multiply by three ad subtract from 42!

42 = 100%
1%= 0.42kg 
0.42 x 3 = 1.26 
1.26= 3%
42-1.26 = 40.74
Ans= 40.74kg
