What is 47/45 in simplest form. I feel so stupid

It is just a top heavy fraction. Numerator is larger than the denominator.
Just divide 45 into 47 to find the whole number. In this case 1.
What is left is the fraction, in this case 2 left.
So answer is 1 and 2/45
