2. Why is it important to not let water reach its boiling point, if you are
going to measure the mass when the water is solid (ice) and liquid
(liquid water)?
when water reaches boiling point it evaporates which would mean it wouldn't have the same mass you began with because you lost some of it when it evaporated into the air
