So when a problem asks for distance per meter you know there has to be a fraction involved. So you would put 6 over the fraction 3/8. So simplest form would be to just simplify the fraction. To simplify, you would multiply 8 by the top and bottom which gives you 48/3 minutes per meter. Dividing this gives you the answer 16 minutes per meter. Hope that helps.
