Aerobic cellular respiration has four stages. The first is glycolysis which is followed by a transition reaction that forms acetyl coenzyme A. This transition connects glycolysis to the Krebs cycle. The citric acid cycle or the Krebs cycle is third. Lastly, an electron transport chain and chemiosmosis is the fourth stage of aerobic cellular respiration.
