44=2(3x−5)

44=6x+−10

44=6x−10

Step 2: Flip the equation.

6x−10=44

Step 3: Add 10 to both sides.

6x−10+10=44+10

Step 4: Divide both sides by 6.

6x /6 =54 /6

x=9
