the answer is 

2cosx + √3 = 0  so cosx = -√3/2

2sinx-1= 0, , so sinx = ½

The solution is 

X= arcos (-√3/2), or x= arc sin(1/2)

X=5pi/6 + 2kpi  or

X= pi/6 +2kpi
