1. It wasn't dark yet. 2. It wasn't yet dark. 3. It was already dark. 4. It was dark already. ---------------------------- Thank you for your help. Are they all grammatical? 'Yet' seems to be placed at the end of a sentence. What about #2?

not all are grammatical, 2 is not a proper sentence.
