Answer: 117.12 square units

Step-by-step explanation:

W = 2L  - 7

 Perimeter =  2(W + L) which gives you

 43.6 = 2 ( 2L - 7 + L )

 43.6  = 2 (3L - 7)

 43.6 = 6L -14     add 14 to both sides

 57.6  = 6L    divide both sides by 6

 9.6  = L

 W = 2(9.6)  - 7   = 12.2

 Area = L x W  (9.6) (12.2) = 117.12 square units
