correct answer: slope (m) = 1/4

( m = rise / run )

to calculate slope use:

( y2 - y1 / x2 - x1 )

and then plug in the numbers!

( x1, y1 ) ( x2, y2 )

( -3 ,1 )   ( 1, -5 )
