The vertical asymptote is x=7.

Since the graph (presumably that of the function y = 1/(x-7)^2 ) increases to infinity at a point between 6 and 8, it would be when x=7 (keep in mind an asymptote is when the graph appears to move towards an x or y value but never reaches it.
