Answer: cos x + cot x

Step-by-step explanation:

(cos x + tan x) / sin x

(cos x / sin x) + (tan x / sin x)

cos x / sin x = cot x

and since tan x = sin x / cos x

tan x / sin x = cos x

therefore, cot x + cos x
