A jet is flying at a velocity of 30m/s. It speeds up to 150m/s in 40s.
Calculate its acceleration.

Answer:

acceleration= Final velocity - initial velocity/time taken

or u can put the formula by their symbols

a= V-u/t

a=150m/s - 30m/s= 120

120/40s= 3s

so the answer is 3s.
