If f(x) = 2x + 7  &  g(x) = 7 - x
then:
          fog = 2(7 - x) + 7
                =  14 - 2x + 7
                =  21 - 2x
     
         gof = 7 - (2x + 7)
               = 7 - 2x - 7
               = -2x
   
        gog = 7 - (7 - x)
               = 7 - 7 + x
               = x
