x+y=32
x-y=10

such that x>y

so
add them equations

x+y=32
x-y=10 +
2x+0y=42

2x=42
divide both sides by 2
x=21

x+y=32
21+y=32
minus 21 both sides
y=11

the numbers are 11 and 21
