Well what happened was terrorists flew planes into the twin towers and everyone was freaking out and didn't know what was going on, when the first plane hit the people thought it was a plane crash/ accident, when the second one hit they knew they where being attacked
the aftermath of it was security got more strict everywhere like airports, or basically anywhere
