"My mom parked the car as we waited on the curb." Is that the sentence? Just wondering, anyway, back to the topic at hand.

A transitive verb, is an action verb that has a direct object

As for an intransitive verb, it's a verb that doesn't have a direct object

So, in the sentence, "parked" would be the transitive verb while "waited" (your answer), is the intransitive verb

I hope this helps!

Have a great day!
