Tasha believes that she can rewrite the difference 120-36 as a product of the gcf of the two numbers and another difference. Is she correct?

Yes, Tasha is correct in her belief.  The gcf of those two numbers is 12. 
Their difference can be written as the product of 12 and another difference.
