dependence is: a strong need of alcohol,....you crave it and you need it.
Addiction is: you are addicted to it and you cant get enough of it.
Problem drinking usually means there is troubles in their life, they are depress and they think the only cure is drinking.
Tolerance is a way of your body to respond to ethanol in alcoholic beverages.
