I feel like this should actually be put under the technology subject rather then math. (Just saying)
Anywho, if you want the side numbers to work on your keyboard, you must simply press the [Num Lock} button on your right hand side right above the number 7 that is on the side number panel. It's is to the right of the backspace button.
