A fair coin is tossed four times. what is the probability that the sequence of tosses is hhtt?

The probability of obtaining a head is 1/2.
The probability of obtaining a tail is 1/2.

The 4 tosses are independent events.
Therefore the probability of obtaining hhtt is
(1/2)⁴ = 1/16

Answer: 1/16
