x = 12y - 20

y = 12y

Y is obviously greater than 20 when you multiply it by 12, so that's a hint.

x = 42

y = 22

3.5 • 12 + 22 = 64

I hope this helped you!

12x-20=64

12x=84

X=7

Basically, add -20 to 64 to get 84. You are then left with 12 so divide 84 by 12 to get 7. Hope this helped!
