Find the slope of the line passing through the points (-2, 9) and (-10, 33).

Slope = rise / run = Δy / Δx = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) = [33 - 9] / [ (-10 - (-2)]

Slope = 24 / ( -8) = - 3
