We know that the range of sec & csc is more than or equal to 1 or less than or equal to -1.
Also we shall be using the standard trigonometric tables to find the values of sin and cos.
Hence the value of sec or csc cannot be 1/2.
Now
cos[tex] \frac{\pi}{3}
=cos 60°
= 1/2
Also
sin[tex] \frac{\pi}{6} [/tex]
=sin30°
= 1/2
So values of sin[tex] \frac{\pi}{6} [/tex] and cos[tex] \frac{\pi}{3} [/tex] are 1/2.
