f is a linear function then f(x)=ax+b

when x=0, f(0)=2
f(0)=b ⇒ b=2

f(-4)=5
f(-4)= -4a+b
-4a+2=5
4a=2-5
4a=-3
a= -3/4

⇒f(x)= -3/4x+2 is the equation
