Yes, 4/5 * 2 = 8/10
4 multiplied by 2 is 8
5 multiplied by 2 is 10

Yes 8/10 is equivalent to 4/5 because if you multiply 4/5 by 2 you'll get 8/10 and to check your work divide 8/10 by 2 and you'll get 4/10: 4/5 × 2= 8/10
Check: 8/10 ÷ 2 = 4/5
