the nearest ten for 179 is 180 so ur answer is 180 :)))
The 7 is in the tens place so you look at the number in the ones place. If it is 5 or more than you round up which means the 9 is greater than five so the 7 becomes 8 so rounded up to 180. Hope this helps to explain how to round numbers. :)
