What is a difference between a law and a hypothesis

Good evening, fellow late night studier!

So basically, a hypothesis is just a limited explanation of a phenomenon; a scientific theory is an in-depth explanation of the observed phenomenon. So then, a law is a statement about an observed phenomenon or a unifying concept. And that is the difference between the two.
