.mov.
MOV format is one of the best few choices available. MOV
provides a reasonable file size and high image fidelity. MOV remains the best
for an Alpha channel for QuickTime formats. MOV is an Apple proprietary compression
algorithm and is commonly opened in Quicktime players, Roxio toast and adobe
flash.
