I bought a pack of gum for $1.99 and 6 bottles of water. I spent a total of $15.49. How much does each bottle of water cost?

$15.49 - $1.99 = 13.5 
divided 13.5 by 6 and you will get the answer of 2.25 so each bottle costs $2.25
