A) y = 209 / x   putting this into equation B

B) 2x + (2 * 209 / x) = 60
2x + 418 / x = 60  multiplying by x
2x^2 + 418 = 60x
2x^2  -60x + 418 = 0
Solving by quadratic formula
x = 19
y = 11
