Find three consecutive integers such that the sum of the second and the third is 17. which equation would be used to solve this word problem?

You would set the first number equal to x as a basis. Followed by x + 1 and x + 2 since we know they must be consecutive. Then by adding the second two together and setting equal to 17, you can find x and thus all three numbers.
