[tex]2g-(3g+1)^2 [/tex]
[tex]= 2(-2) - (3(-2) + 1) ^2 [/tex]
[tex]= -4 - (-5)^2[/tex]
[tex] = - 4 - 25 [/tex]
[tex]= -29[/tex]
