A pattern rule for a sequence is Start at 8, double each number and add 2. what are the first five numbers

(8 x 2) + 2 = 18      (18 x 2 ) + 2 = 38        (38 x 2) + 2 = 78                           (78 x 2) + 2= 158.... can you see the pattern? All numbers end in 8. Thats the only pattern I see.

8, 18, 38, 78, 158. Just double the last number and add two to that (edited)
