Romulus and Remus were left in a basket by the Tibar River because the ruling King decided that they would one day overthrow and insurrect the throne. They were swept away and eventually were found by a she-wolf and were fed via wood-pecker. They were then found by a local shepherd and the shepherd's wife. Faustulus and Acca Larentia. They grew up to be shepherds like their adoptive father figure.
